Privacy Policy

This English translation is provided for convenience. The legally binding version is the German one.

I am pleased about your interest in my website. As a private individual, data protection is of great importance to me. Using this site is generally possible without providing any personal data.

1. Name and address of the controller

The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other data protection provisions is:

Daniel Kreutz
Goethestr. 80
01587 Riesa
Germany
Phone: 0152 58434177
E-mail: info@kreutzweb.de

2. Server log files

Each time this site is accessed, the web server automatically stores information in so-called log files. The following is recorded:

  • the IP address of the requesting device,
  • the date and time of access,
  • the URL accessed and the HTTP status code,
  • the browser and operating system used (user agent),
  • the referring page (referrer), if transmitted by the browser.

This data is required to deliver the site correctly, to detect errors and to fend off attack attempts. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website). The log files are automatically deleted after 14 days at the latest, provided there are no indications of misuse. The data is not merged with other data sources.

3. Cookies

This website does not use any cookies – neither technically necessary ones nor analytics or marketing cookies. A cookie banner is therefore not required either.

4. Contact form and e-mail

If you send me a message via the contact form or by e-mail, I process the data you provide (name, e-mail address, message text) as well as your IP address at the time of sending. The IP address is sent along in order to be able to trace any abusive use of the form.

The message is delivered by e-mail to my address info@kreutzweb.de and stored there in my mailbox until the enquiry has been finally processed and any follow-up questions have been clarified. After that, I delete the message, provided no statutory retention obligations preclude this. The data is not passed on to third parties.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (initiation or performance of contractual relationships) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering your enquiry).

5. Download counter

When the tools offered on this site are downloaded, an anonymous counter is incremented that records the total number of downloads per tool. Only the following is stored:

  • the name (slug) of the downloaded tool,
  • the total number of downloads so far,
  • the time of the first and last download.

No personal data is stored in the process – neither IP address, user agent nor a session identifier. The counter serves solely for statistical evaluation in order to recognise which tools are being used.

6. My apps

“Meine Kundenkarten” (iOS): The app stores all data exclusively locally on the device. No transmission to me or to third parties takes place.

Transit App (iOS & Android): The app uses only the device's location data (GPS) to display nearby stops. The location data is processed on the device and is not transmitted to me. For timetable queries, the app accesses the publicly available interface of the Verkehrsverbund Oberelbe (VVO) at vvo-online.de. The VVO's data protection notices apply to the data processing taking place there. I myself do not create any accounts, do not use any trackers and do not pass on any data to third parties.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights:

  • Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)
  • Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

To exercise your rights, an informal message to info@kreutzweb.de is sufficient.
